It is with great pleasure that HTK congratulates Clayton Cowell on completing his Architectural Registration Exams (ARE) to become our newest licensed architect!

During his time as an Intern with HTK, Clayton has worked on various projects including the Kansas City Kansas Public Schools: Welborn, John Fiske, & Lowell Brune Elementary Schools. He has also worked on DeSoto USD 232 Mill Creek CTE/ECC.  Clayton is currently working on North Kansas City Public Schools Deferred Maintenance projects which will keep him busy over the next three years.

Not only does Clayton have 12 years of architectural experience, he is also a Naval Service Veteran as a Gas-Turbine Mechanic onboard the USS Hawes (FFG-53). His military experience coupled with his passion for architecture aid him to provide a clear methodical approach to challenging projects. Clayton stays current with innovative technologies which exceed the industry standard. He strives for better solutions in order to work more efficiently allowing more time and energy to focus on the anticipation of the client’s needs.
